FAQ
Store Policies
1. JC accepts like-new clothing from selective stores. Items must be clean, and in style. We do not accept discount store brands for consignment (donation only).
2. We are an alternative to yard sales. Please do not use our service as a last resort before a thrift store. Our successful consignors bring clothing before, not after, a yard sale.
3. Acceptance and pricing shall be at the discretion of JC, whose decisions are final, including necessary reductions in price.
4. The consignor is to receive 50% of the selling price or may choose to receive 60% store credit.
5. There are no pick-up dates or cut off dates for your clothing. We keep your clothing until it sells.
6. JC reserves the right to dispose of, without liability, any items deemed unsellable. Some examples are stains, broken zippers, moth holes, and out of style clothing.
7. We are not responsible for loss or damage for any reason. All items are left at the owner’s risk.
8. Payment on sold items may be picked up in store by the consignor. Checks for the prior month will be ready the 10th of the following month, or the next business day. A check will not be issued for less than $9.99 unless it is the third consecutive month.
Consignment Policies
1. All consigned items must be clean, in style and like new condition.
2. No items will be accepted with stains, rips, missing buttons, or any unpleasant odors, such as cigarette smoke, moth balls, mildew, etc.
3. All items are accepted by appointment only, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Please call 270-889-4818 to make an appointment.
4. You must have a minimum of 20 acceptable items to open a new account. We recommend that you bring more than 20 items as we are very brand selective. There is no limit as to how many pieces you may bring.
5. At this time, we will accept only current season clothing and shoes.
6. We sell women’s and men’s clothing of all sizes, including big and tall.
7. Please understand styles can change and not all items you bring in will be accepted. Items we consider to be slow selling, will not be taken to consign.
8. We also accept items listed below:
a. Designer leather or name brand purses
b. Women’s/ Men’s leather or name brand shoes showing no visible wear.
